Side Effects
While Dianoxyl is generally a safe and effective drug, it can still cause a variety of side effects.
These side effects can include increased blood pressure, liver damage, gynecomastia, and increased cholesterol levels.
Additionally, long-term use of Dianabol can lead to decreased sperm count and testicular atrophy.
In order to minimize these risks, it is important to cycle Dianabol responsibly, as well as monitor hormone levels and keep track of any negative side effects.
List of some of Dianoxyl Side Effects:
- Liver toxicity: Dianoxyl is a hepatotoxic steroid, meaning it can damage the liver if used for prolonged periods or at high doses. Symptoms of liver toxicity include abdominal pain, jaundice, fatigue, and nausea.
- High blood pressure: Dianoxyl can cause an increase in blood pressure, which can lead to serious cardiovascular problems if left untreated.
- Gynecomastia: Dianoxyl can cause breast tissue growth in males due to its estrogenic effects. This can cause embarrassment and discomfort in men.
- Testosterone suppression: Dianoxyl can suppress natural testosterone production, which can lead to low testosterone levels and associated symptoms such as fatigue, reduced libido, and erectile dysfunction.
- Water retention: Dianoxyl can cause excess water retention, leading to bloating and the appearance of a puffy face and body.
- Excess oil production and acne: Dianoxyl can increase oil production in the skin, which can lead to acne breakouts.
- Stretch marks: Dianoxyl can cause rapid weight gain, which can lead to the development of stretch marks on the skin.
- Seborrheic dermatitis: Dianoxyl can cause an itchy and flaky scalp, known as seborrheic dermatitis.
- Sudden body hair growth or hair loss: Dianoxyl is an adrogenic steroid that can cause sudden body hair growth, particularly in women, or hair loss, particularly in men with a genetic predisposition to male pattern baldness.
- Jaundice: Dianabol can cause a yellowing of the skin and eyes, known as jaundice, due to its hepatotoxic effects on the liver.
It is important to note that these side effects can be reduced or avoided by following proper dosing protocols, using liver support supplements, and cycling off the steroid periodically.
In doses of 50 mg/day or less (typical doses range from 25-50 mgs/day for men although as high as 100 mgs/day is reported) there does not appear to be significant disruption of the HPTA or hypothalamic/pituitary/testicular axis.
Dianoxyl use by women, even in low doses, can result in significant virilization and is therefore not usually recommended.
Side effects for methandienone are certainly dose related with the frequency of occurrence and severity increasing correspondingly.
Bloating, gynecomastia, acne, hair-loss, and elevated liver enzymes are all possible side effects along with disruption of the HPTA and HDL/LDL issues.
Once again, keeping the dose to a maximum of 50 mg/day for 4-8 weeks should limit the extent of side-effects experienced from this hormone.
It is also important to consult a healthcare practitioner before using any anabolic steroid.
